Fantasy is where you wish you could be, but you're here.

Fantasy is what you wish you could have but don't.

Fantasy is what should exist, but doesn't.

Fantasy is wishful thinking... A hope that someday things won't be so dull.

To me, fantasy is a comfort. I find myself enjoying my time because of it. Unfortunatly, it almost always hits you with a harsh slap of reality. I feel its just another burden that we all have to over come.

Fantasy is, in brutal honesty, a safe haven for the weak. A fantasy is better described as a dream; even simpler as a wanted achievement. No matter how you look at it, fantasy in all forms, definitions, and likenesses is a little gimmick that lets someone escape reality.

That's all it is. An escape from reality, just like everything else. Reading, writing, playing games, playing sports, working out, etc. You get the point. I must say that life is sad, tragic, pathetic, and mortal. No one wants to look at life everyday thinking, "I'm going to die someday." No. No one does that. You fantasize your way through life until your itty-bitty flame is nothing but smoke.

Then the next generation comes. Rinse and repeat.

Nice.

Fantasy is something that is desired but never achieved. It's the little thing that keeps our spirits high, even if only slightly. It's both a gift and a curse; while it's great to aspire to something, the reality is that it will never truly exist.

Fantasys are a waste of time, they only leave you hurt and confused.

this is hard!

fantasy is, but it is not. that's what makes it beautiful.

fantasy is, and its very existence maintains my hope in humankind. as long as the mind can create new dimentions, waves to ride and oceans to get lost in, the ability to transcend will be intact. this is important. also, true fantasy, when shared, is often tacit. the best things in life are tacit.

fantasy is not. what occurs within the realm of fantasy does not exist in our tangible realm.

fantasy exists in a way that nothing else can. the fact that it occurs often solely in our minds makes it no less real - just less apparent. it is, but it is not.
